The Hariyali Lok Kalyan Seva Foundation (HLKSS) is socio-economic organisation of few brave enthusiasts. Who are working very hard for development of Sanpada. The main object of development is to convert the area clean and green. It is done through plantation and try to fulfill the objects like peace, enviornment balance, social health, to improve the beauty, motivate the people, extend the area, create awareness among the people and students. A derelict strech of land along railway track near Sanpada Station has been turned into green belt due to efforts made by group of residence with green fingers. Seven years ago, the narrow peace of land between road and railway track was strewn with construction debris and garbage. Every morning our team is at the park with hoe and a bucket clearing weeds and watering the younger plants. On every Sunday NSS Students of Swami Vivekanad College of Arts and Science, Chembur are also attending for this generous work. The 80% work has been done through shramdan. The original group of around half a dozen enthusiasts has grown into a 255 life members group. For successful growth, we work two hours daily from 05:30am to 07:30am in the garden and in the evening. We give 1 & 1/2 hour time for administrative work of this N.G.O. like maintenace of record and for correspondace. Hence, nomination the same may please be considered for this national work in progress of which requirement is necessary in this modern mechanical age for the country and world.
